Doing laundry can take hours off your time, so setting up an efficient laundry area allows you to multitask and save time. Choose the Right Spot

Choosing a right spot for the laundry room is important since it usually being used for hours. Though laundry rooms are usually placed in the basement, setting it up near the kitchen is beneficial for busy individuals since it's easier to do multitask when one area is neat the other. Placing the laundry room near the back door or the children's room can be of great help too. Make sure you have enough space to sort out clothes, hang and fold. The room does not necessarily have to be big and spacious, it just need to be properly arranged.

Wet and Dry Zones

Putting up partitions on the laundry room is efficient. Set up the sink beside the washing machine so that you can keep the wet task together. Putting up partition makes the room clean and organized as well. Install a hanger rod beside the dryer so that clothes can be air dried. Save a space for the ironing board within the dry area so that it would be easier for you to navigate.
