"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" expansions' releases have been announced.

The highly anticipated release date of the first of two upcoming major expansions for the action role-playing game, "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," was finally announced by CD Projekt Red, the video game's developer and publisher.

CD Projekt Red has officially revealed the approved release date of the first expansion, "Hearts of Stone," last Tuesday, Sept. 8. The developer announced through their official post, saying, "launching October 13th, 2015, 'Hearts of Stone' packs over 10 hours of new adventures and introduces new characters, powerful monsters, unique romance, and a brand new storyline shaped by gamer choices."

Moreover, the company has also exposed the details regarding the new addition that will come along with the game, "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," which is called the Runeword system. CD Projekt Red further said that, "The expansion also introduces a brand new system of Runewords that significantly affects gameplay. Each Runeword will impact a different aspect of in-game mechanics and will allow the players to experiment with various strategies and tactics."

But the good news does not end with that, as CD Projekt Red also revealed in their official post that the company has also set to release an exclusive and limited boxed edition of "Hearts of Stone," which will be worth around $19.99. The box will house a digital download code for the latest expansion along with the real-world, physical, Gwent cards, that the company had previously promised the fans.

CD Projekt Red revealed that the fans and gamers who will buy this boxed limited edition set will get two decks of Gwent cards, along with the manual that explains the guidelines to the game.
