'Wolverine 3' Spoilers: How will Sabertooth, Berserker Rage be Integrated in the "Wolverine: Old Man Logan" Comic Storyline in 2017?

"Wolverine 3" the movie, the third and final installment of the series, does not have details regarding the plot and cast yet. However, lead actor Hugh Jackman has revealed a few details of the film.

Jackman's "Wolverine 3" will incorporate some of the requests from fans. According to a report by Screen Rant, the 46-year-old actor mentioned during an interview with the Sydney Confidential Podcast that many of the fans want to see Victor Creed, also known as Sabertooth, to come back to the film.

Sabretooth is perhaps Wolverine's most notorious rival. It was previously established that the two came from almost the same roots and thus have quite similar savage superpowers, as told in several comic book stories. However, Sabertooth was, by far, only seen twice throughout the seven "X-Men" films. The character's first appearance was in "X-Men" in 2000 (played by Tyler Mane), and the second one was in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" in 2009 (played by Liev Schreiber). The comeback of the famous Wolverine berserker rage is another one of the movie fans' popular request, where the mutant transforms and takes on the characteristics of an infuriated animal.

In the interview, Jackman answered the fans' request. "I'm really excited about this last one. And if you're a comic book fan, the words 'berserker rage' came up a lot. If you know Wolverine, you'll understand," said Jackman.

Just as previously reported, the third stand-alone Wolverine movie is expected to take a few elements from the story arc of its comics series called, "Wolverine: Old Man Logan," Ecumenical News said. Knowing this, many are excited to see how movie director James Mangold will include Sabertooth in the story, despite the character not being present in the comic book series.

"Wolverine 3's" official title is still being discussed. However, the film is already lined up for a theatrical release on Mar. 3, 2017.

Some critics say though that they have had enough of Wolverine sequels. X-Men fans should weigh in on the comments section below if they're looking forward to seeing the other X-Men heroes have their own movies, too.
