'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Premiere & Spoilers: Secret Warriors to Appear in Season 3

The Secret Warriors are finally coming to the third season of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.!" Rumor has it that they'll definitely shake things up in the upcoming season, but don't expect them to appear and come together all in one go. This news has also been hinted a month ago through the teaser poster, as posted by Screenrant.

The Secret Warriors are a team formed by Nick Fury himself for his Caterpillar Initatives. They also have special abilities, which have led them a life hidden in secrecy.

In an interview with executive producer Jeffrey Bell via TV Guide, he said that bringing this team together will be a "slow burn," and he also mentioned how S.H.I.E.L.D. will be a "unique place" for the inhumans to be "tracked and assisted in some way:" Bell stated, "S.H.I.E.L.D. is particularly well suited to try and find those people, get those people, help those people, or stop those people, depending on how they come out of their transformation."

Reports also state that Skye or Daisy Johnson (played by Chloe Bennett) will most likely lead the Secret Warriors. This development will also give Skye/Daisy a bigger role in the next season.

AV Club speculates that "this version of the Secret Warriors will almost certainly be assembled by Clark Gregg's Phil Coulson. Other than that, the rest of the Secret Warriors are pretty much all nobodies as far as mainstream Marvel fans are concerned, so it remains to be seen if the show will bother to adapt the comics very closely at all."

Even if the producers decide to not be faithful to the original comics, fans are surely excited for the Secret Warriors' appearance on the show.

The third season of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is set to premiere on September 29 on ABC.
