"Divergent" star Theo James and Shailene Woodley are targeting more mature audiences in their upcoming movie "Allegiant - Part 1." With this, fans are speculating that the film could feature more intimate moments between Tris and Four.
In an interview with Flickering Myth, James said that he is happy that "Allegiant" will be more apt for adult audiences compared to "Divergent" and "Insurgent." The actor added that he believes this is a good move by the creators of the film because it shows that they take into account the sophisticated taste of viewers.
Meanwhile, James also said that he wants to give his character Four justice because he understands how much fans have grown to love him from Veronica Roth's books. With this, the actor said that he's always taking his role seriously.
"You definitely don't want to mess it up. I think it's great that there are so many people reading, but really when you're doing a film that's an adaptation of the book, you do the preparation and then you know the character and you decide on how you're going to play it and that's it. You can't be too informed by other people," he explained.
In other news, James and Woodley never revealed whether or not there will be more intimate scenes between them in "Allegiant - Part 1" and "Allegiant - Part 2." However, those who have read Roth's novel would know that the two would take their relationship to the next level, according to Jobs N Hire.
Unfortunately, Tris and Four's relationship will come to an end because the former will be killed off in the movie. With this, Woodley and James have said that they are okay with Tris' death, but this could mean that there will be no more followup to "Allegiant."
"Allegiant - Part 1" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Mar. 18, 2016.
