Apple iPad Mini 4 Release Update: 7.9-inch Display, iOS9, A9 Processor, Price Revealed

The Apple iPad Mini 4 will be a much greater version of its predecessor, the iPad Mini 3, considering that the iPad Mini 3 only has limited features to boast of, on top of its Touch ID.

The Mini 4 has been one of the most awaited (and also rumored to be the best) Apple device to come out this year, in addition to the iPhone devices that are also coming out later in the year, TheBitBag reported.

Some great new features that will adorn the latest iPad Mini 4 include a new and improved 7.9-inch Retina display screen (complete with anti-reflective coating for better contrast and more vibrant color), an A9 processor (which is the same processor that will be used in other upcoming Apple devices), a body measurement of 6.1 mm, a rear camera with 8MP, 2GB RAM, an iOS9, and a split-screen feature for multitasking, MacRumors noted.

Other iPad Mini 4 reports have even added a description of the device saying that it will both be thin and light, regardless of it sporting basic features common to all devices in the series, such as the LTE support, a Touch ID, and an internal storage of 16GB to 128GB.

Aside from all these jam-packed fresh features, reports have also revealed that more transformations with the iPad Mini 4 device could be expected.

Once the iPad Mini 4 is made available and comes out in the market, the price for the gadget is expected to range between $400 to $600. This is still considerably high, but Apple has really raised the expectations for this new and upcoming tablet early on before its actual release.

It is expected to be a far cry from the performance of the previous installment, since the Mini 3 failed to live up to the consumers' expectations.

Aside from the iPad Mini 4, the iPad Pro and iPad Air 3 are also expected to come out this year.
