Hot couple Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed enjoyed a cozy day at the lake on Sunday. The two who married early this year were seen having a great time, but could it be that they're just trying to outshine Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell's recent France getaway?
On Sunday the "Vampire Diaries" actor, 36, and his wife, "Twilight" star, 27, packed a lot of PDAs and even shared on social media their romantic outing.
"Lake time with part of my little family... Smiling is truly one of the keys to life I'm convinced. Hope you smile today-it's good to do ;)," Somerhalder wrote on his Instagram page. He is seen shirtless in the photo as he posed with his wife Reed, who was wearing a white bikini. The couple went out with their pet dog Ira.
Soon after her husband shared the sweet pic, Reed gushed about how good her relationship is with Somerhalder when she shared their sweet photo on her own Instagram page, with the caption, "Me and my human."
Although the newlyweds seem to be happy with their relationship, rumors that Reed is still jealous of Ian's ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev is still abuzz online. Controversies have it that Somerhalder's wife is apparently still jealous of Dobrev. In fact, their recent lake outing could reportedly be a way to diss Dobrev and Stowell, who enjoyed a lot of attention during their getaway in France.
In a previous Realty Today report, it was said that Reed was jealous of Dobrev because she has now moved on with her life with her newfound love. Apart from it, the 27-year-old actress apparently didn't like it that Dobrev was getting the support of "The Vampire Diaries" fans.
Furthermore, Reed is allegedly still threatened with the rumored return of Dobrev to "The Vampire Diaries." After a mini-reunion with the cast members Candice Accola and Kayla Ewell at the latter's bachelorette party, it was said that Dobrev could come back to the TV show again, and there were issues that Reed would not be happy about Dobrev's return to the show with her husband.
"We all know Dobrev's return to 'The Vampire Diaries' would NOT be welcomed by Ian Somerhalder's wife, Nikki Reed. There has been strong evidence of bad blood between Nina and Nikki. If Nina returned to 'Vampire Diaries,' you can bet Reed would not happy about it," CelebDirty Laundry reports.
