"Divergent" co-stars Theo James and Shailene Woodley are very much comfortable working with each other. In an interview with Flickering Myth, James said that he and Woodley are great with each other, regardless if they are working on the set of "Allegiant - Part 1" or in real life.
Meanwhile, James also talked about his upcoming film and said that "Allegiant - Part 1" will somehow be more mature than "Divergent" and "Insurgent." It is unclear though whether or not the upcoming film will feature James and Woodley in more intimate scenes.
"We all definitely wanted to up the game. One thing I am pleased with is that it's more adult even than the first one. I think that's very important because audiences are more and more sophisticated, especially young people, so you can't dumb anything down or they see through it," he said.
In other news, James also spoke highly of his fans. The actor said that he understands how some fans of the "Divergent" series are deeply invested in the characters. This is one of the reasons why he wants to give justice to Four.
"I think it's great that there are so many people reading, but really when you're doing a film that's an adaptation of a book, you do the preparation and then you know the character and you decide on how you're going to play it and that's it. You can't be too informed by other people," he said.
Meanwhile, the ending of "Allegiant" is expected to be a true tear-jerker. Book author Veronica Roth has already confirmed that Tris will die towards the end of the movie.
While speaking with Digital Spy, James and Woodley said that they were shocked to know Tris' fate. However, they are okay with the fact that Tris will die because they believe it's essential for the trilogy.
"Allegiant - Part 1" will be released on March 18, 2016.
