Lenny Kravitz may now be thinking that he should have worn his underpants while performing on stage last Monday. Leather pants have been a favorite among rock stars and the malfunction of Kravitz's pair of leather pants quickly became trending news.
Since then, photos of the "Fly Away" singer and his exposed little Lenny circulated the social media like wildfire.
The singer was performing on a show in Stockholm, Sweden when his leather trousers ripped wide open, leaving nothing to the imagination about his little Lenny to the crowd. To be more specific, while the rocker was playing his electric guitar, his trousers split open when he squatted down. The fans have seen more than what they had expected.
A fan at the show has spoken to the Swedish newspaper "Expressen" that Kravitz soon left the stage and then a producer stepped in to explain that there had been a problem on stage.
The 51-year-old rock star returned to stage with a new pair of pants and said, "Sorry, I ripped my trousers."
Kravitz is also behind the hits songs like "Ain't It Over 'Til It's Over" and "I belong to You" among others. He currently holds the record of having the most number of Grammy Awards in the Best Male Rock Vocal Performance category.
The singer has received a text from Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler which he tweeted in response to the wardrobe malfunction with the hashtag #p***sgate.
Moreover, even PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) had something to say. The group had tweeted, "Another reason NOT to wear leather! We'll be sending Lenny Kravitz some extra sturdy #vegan leather pants..."
One fan thought the singer has released a new song because he was trending on the Internet and she was surprised that the reason was something else.
