Home Office Ideas: Try These Top Home Office Trends

Creating a workspace in your home doesn't require an entire spare room. You can create a great home office even in the corner of your bedroom, a library or a living room. Here are some tips:

Use a central theme for the chair, desk and floating shelves of your office space. You can place the items in one part of your room and use the same color and texture for the furniture pieces. The color completely separates them from your bed, which can be beside your working table.

Choose bright colors. Your child's home desk need not be boring. Let your child enjoy while studying by painting the workplace with bright colors. Choose shades that are fun, alive and interesting. You can also add some storage boxes that go with your chosen theme/color.

Turn the space under the stairs into a working station by placing a floating shelf. You can also add a corkboard on the wall for reminders and other clippings, HGTV says.

Turn the dining room, den or living room into a working niche. Work up on the space by giving it a dynamic retouch. If the room has a neutral color, try introducing bold furniture pieces or bright desk accessories that can turn your home office from pale to bright, according to Realsimple.com.

Create a working space just beside your bed in your bedroom by adding a few pieces of desk and chair. Choose furniture that complements the make and design of your bed, making your home office an extension of your bed.

Use white desk and white chair in your bedroom. White furniture pieces can add light to your room. It also creates a wonderful focal point in your room without adding so many pieces.
