"Divergent" and "Insurgent" star Theo James is reportedly expecting his first child with girlfriend Ruth Kearney. According to Media Mass, a source saw the couple dining at a restaurant and the two of them shared a toast with one another twice. However, it was evident that Kearney opted to drink water instead of the usual wine. This has led fans to speculate that the actress could be pregnant.
"She twice made toasts... by drinking water instead of wine. It is highly unusual to toast with anything but full glass of a wine," a source told the publication.
Immediately after the news broke out, the publication tried to get in touch with James' rep to ask about the reports. However, the actor's rep said that he is not allowed to comment regarding his client's personal life. This has once again led fans to believe that indeed, Kearney could be pregnant with James' baby.
Meanwhile, the publication also noted that Kearney's abdominal area seems to be getting bigger, an indication that she could be with child. Just recently, news broke that James and Kearney are already engaged and some fans believe that it was because they already found out about the latter's pregnancy.
According to Movie News Guide, the couple was spotted scouting for an engagement ring. The publication noted that James' rep once again responded to the issue, but didn't directly confirm or deny the reports.
With these news, fans of James and his "Allegiant" co-star Shailene Woodley could potentially rest their speculations about the onscreen couple's relationship. Throughout the past couple of months, there have been reports that James and Woodley are more than friends and are just denying their real relationship. Unfortunately, this isn't the case.
