Katy Perry Says She Could be USA's 46th President

Katy Perry, once again, made headlines last Sunday during the annual Starkey Hearing Foundation Gala.  According to Twincities.com, Katy Perry was the musical headliner along with Gene Simmons who was also part of the entertainment in which comedian Norman Crosby was the emcee.  In the said event, the Dark Horse singer sang five songs, including "Roar" and "Fireworks".  Not only did the beautiful 30-year-old singer amazed guests in the gala she also posed for a picture with two former heads of state and made an unforgettable joking remark.

Katy Perry posed between former United States Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush and jokingly said she would be next.  She captioned on her Instagram snap with the two former presidents, "42, 43, 46?!"  Did she really announced that she was running for president?  She surely was referring to Clinton and Bush being the 42nd and 43rd presidents of the United States but judging by her math, she would not be running until 2020 or 2024.  This means that if she weren't joking, she has no plans of competing with Donald Trump in being the 45th president of the United States.

On the other hand, whether she would be running for president or not, Perry is no stranger to politics. Way back in 2012, Katy Perry was the vocal supporter of President Barrack Obama, performing at a rally for the president during his campaign.

The said Foundation is known to provide more than 175,000 free hearing aids annually around the world.  The foundation honored President Bush this year while President Clinton's Global Initiative is one of the Foundation's major supporters.

Looks like "Roar" would make an appropriate song for her 2024 campaign if she indeed would run for president.  Would she and Taylor Swift have settled their beef and become running mates by that time?
