"Divergent" star Shailene Woodley and Theo James have gotten much closer now that they are already filming the third instalment into the franchise. With this, fans are speculating that Woodley may have something to do with James and girlfriend Ruth Kearney's recent issues.
According to Venture Capital Post, James and Kearney are having some issues in their relationship and their supporters are blaming Woodley for it. Although James and Woodley previously confirmed that they are nothing more than friends, fans still believe that they could be romantically involved with one another.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview with SugarScape, James joked that his character Four and Tris will have twins in "Allegiant." The actor even named their fake twins as Bertie and Bernadette, perhaps inspired by Tris' real name, which is Beatrice.
In other news, details about "Allegiant" have been kept under wraps. Although the cast is currently filming in Georgia, not much has been revealed about the movie's plot. Fans of Veronica Roth's novels have an idea though as to how "Allegiant" will end.
According to Roth, "Allegiant" will be split into two because the final book has a lot of important parts. The book author also talked about why Tris couldn't belong in all five factions despite the fact that she is the story's hero.
"Well, the reason she's not in all five factions is just because she's not superhuman. She's got flaws, and those need to be reflected in the way that she's appealing to the factions," Roth said.
Tris not being a superhuman also means that she will be killed off towards the end of the film. As sad as this might be for fans, Roth said that she and the film producers decided to remain true to the original storyline.
"Allegiant - Part 1" will hit theaters in the United States in 2016.
