London's "first fashion-branded tower" was recently launched and went on sale on Tuesday. The opulent Thames-side skyscraper offers 360 luxury apartments starting at £711,000. The said extravagant property showcases the "elegance and sensuality of Donatella Versace."
According to The Guardian, all the units facing Thames in the 50-story tower have been sold through pre-sales. However, there are still a lot of units available such as those on One Nine Elms. Here, buyers and property owners can enjoy amenities such as a cinema, gym, roof terrace and even a luxury KTV or karaoke room.
International Business Times reports that the luxury real estate project will be completed by 2020 and will offer buyers state-of-the-art features such as indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi, gym, communal gardens and two car lifts. A parking area is included too but comes with an extra cost of £50,000. Concierge and valet services are also offered.
The Guardian mentioned that part of the huge project is the required social housing, which is a "more squat building for housing association tenants." The said area will have a separate entrance from the main tower and will have no access to the luxury amenity floor.
The agent for the tower, Hamptons International, is reportedly confident about London's property market and predicts a 23 percent profit for buyers of the new luxury apartments in five years' time, if they sell the units. Investors are said to be lured with promises of high returns, with the property's brochure claiming, "There really is no better place in the world to invest."
According to real estate advisory company Jones Lang Lasalle, London remains to be "one of the most sustainable real estate markets in the world, with 6 percent year-on-year price growth." In line with this, Hussain Sajwani, chairman of DAMAC International, which owns the developer of Aykon Tower, DICO UK Property Holdings Ltd, said, "There is a huge appetite from our current global customer base for luxury property investments in London.
