According to International Business Times, the popular singer Lady Gaga will be playing an evil character and will be involved in a love triangle between Matt Bomer and Finn Wittrock. Murphy revealed in the last Comic-Con event that the 29-year-old pop star wanted to be an evil character in the show and that her role will have to do something with fashion.
The other actors in Season 5 are Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Chloe Sevigny, Max Greenfield, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson, Denis O'Hare and Richard T. Jones. Joining the big cast is "Fargo" alum Helena Mattsson. According to Catermatt, the actress revealed her participation in the show through her Twitter account. As of writing, her role in the show is still kept secret.
With most of the previous cast members returning for Season 5, fans are still sad that Jessica Lange will not be returning for the upcoming season. Movie Pilot reported that in the last Comic-Con event, Murphy hinted that Jessica Lange might come back to the horror anthology for Season 6.
He was quoted as saying, "This format I love because you say to the actors 'let me know I need you for one season' and after that if you love it, great let's do it again, and if you don't, go off and do something else. Or go off for a year and then come back, a.k.a. Jessica Lange."
Fans will have to find out if the award-winning actress will be back to "American Horror Story."
"American Horror Story" Season 5: Hotel is inspired by the Cecil Hotel, which is now called "Stay on Main." It is a hotel located in Los Angeles where numerous murders and suicides are believed to have occurred. It was also reported that two infamous serial killers like Richard "the Nightstalker" Ramirez and Jack Unterweger stayed there. The place is also known as one of the last places where Elizabeth Short was seen alive.
