'Dance Moms' Season 5 Spoilers & Cast News: Kalani Hilliker Leaves ALDC; Mom Kira Girard Explains Why

"Dance Moms" star Kira Girard and her daughter Kalani Hilliker recently confirmed their decision to leave Abby Lee Miller's ALDC elite junior team. On Tuesday's episode of "Dance Moms" titled "Abby vs. Kira AGAIN," Miller was featured telling Hilliker that she will be pulled out of the group dance to lower the team's overall average.

Fans of "Dance Moms" and Hilliker are speculating that Miller decided to remove the 14-year-old dancer from the group performance because Girard brought in her daughter's own personal choreographer, according to the International Business Times. Since Hilliker was tasked to perform a solo routine, Girard took the initiative to hire Alexa Moffett, who will only be focusing on her daughter's dance.

Hilliker won the entire competition for performing the number titled "The Investment." After that, she announced her departure from the team.

"She doesn't want me there, so what's the point of being there? I have a dance teacher that wants me at dance class every day and that's what I deserve," Hilliker said on the show.

Following Tuesday night's episode, an enraged Girard took her thoughts to Twitter to clarify that her daughter actually decided to leave the team immediately after she was pulled out and not after she won the competition.

"Let's get the editing straight; Kalani walked out as soon as she was pulled out NOT after the AWARDS! She made the decision BEFORE!!!" she tweeted. In a followup tweet, Girard wrote, "We r actual back stage cause they cut the part where @23kalani said im done im not dealing w this when I have a whole team in AZ who loves me!"

Later on, Girard threw shade at Miller for failing to give her daughter the right costume. "Note Abby had this all planned never planned on Kalani dancing she had MY costume lady in AZ not fix her costume!" she wrote.

"Dance Moms" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m ET on Lifetime.
