'Divergent' Movie 'Allegiant - Part 1' Spoilers: Theo James & Shailene Woodley To Have Twins In Third Installment?

"Allegiant" may still be a couple of months away, but as early as now, fans are already eager to know what will happen to Theo James' Four and Shailene Woodley's Tris characters.

In a previous interview with Sugar Scape, James talked about the story of "Allegiant" and joked that he and Woodley will be blessed with twins named Bertie and Bernadette. Those who have read Veronica Roth's trilogy would know that Tris and Four will not have twins toward the end of the series.

Meanwhile, Roth previously spoke with Vulture to dish on the franchise and said that she was okay with all of the changes she's seen in the first two films. According to her, these changes were inevitable because her depiction of the story in the book must come to life for the big screen.

At that time, Roth also explained why it was necessary for "Allegiant" to be released with two different parts. According to her, the last installment have two distinct arcs. The first one is a continuation of "Insurgent," which will also feature the effects of the events that took place then. Meanwhile, the second arc will focus on how Tris and Four, as well as the other characters, will survive outside their city. [Spoilers follow]

In other news, fans are still passing on a petition for Roth and Lionsgate to consider changing the ending of "Allegiant." However, according to the book author, this cannot be done for the big screen. Roth said that Tris will also die in the film and Woodley had always known that this will be her character's fate, according to Movie News Guide.

"I talked to Shailene about how she reacted to the ending and she really enjoyed the way that it ended. I don't know. I wrote 'Allegiant' that way because I thought that was the way it needed to be told," Roth said.

"Allegiant - Part 1" is slated to hit theaters in the United States next year.
