HP Laptops: Limited Edition Windows 10 Elitebook Folio Unveiled

HP has unveiled a Windows 10-ready limited edition HP EliteBook Folio 1020. The device features Bang & Olufsen audio speakers housed in a silver chassis with a copper finish along the hinges and keys, Tech Radar reported.

Slash Gear said that the device works with with dual-array microphones, noise-canceling software, and an HD webcam to provide an "elite" audio-visual experience, as what its name suggests. Like all other Windows 10-ready devices, the new EliteBook will be optimized to accept Cortana requests, and it has a pre-installed Skype for Business account, according to Tech Radar.

Slash Gear added that the computer is designed primarily for business applications as there is HP Client Security and HP Biosphere for keeping data and the device itself safe from malicious entities.

The new version weighs 2.68 pounds (1.2 kg), the exact weight of the original model, which was launched in December of last year. This reportedly could be an indication that the new model has the same features as the one launched last year.

The report said that the original EliteBook is similar in style and stature of Apple's new MacBook. It features a Core M processor with 8GB or RAM and 256GB of storage capacity. It also boasts excellent processing power as it features a Core M machine. The report, however, noted that the laptop's graphics specification was unsuitable for a business class device.

The report added that HP could probably improve the amount of storage capacity and the device's graphics processor without dramatically altering the price, which will likely be slightly higher than its predecessor, given the upgraded speakers. HP Limited Edition Windows 10 Elitebook Folio will be available at some point this fall, the report said.
