"Does anybody here like dolphins?," was the question asked to the crowd by the 21-year-old One Direction member, Harry Styles, in the recent On The Road Again Tour show held last ninth of July 2015 in Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego. Styles also said, "Don't go to SeaWorld!"
Styles revealed to Eonline that PETA was pleased with this and they would even be sending him a "SeaWorld Kills" T-Shirt and a box of dolphin-shaped vegan chocolates to show their appreciation. Billboard even shared a clip of the Instagram video made by The "Games Of Thrones" star and also a Dolphin Project ambassador, Maisie Williams on this message said by Styles.
Styles was spotted before wearing a Dolphin Project T-shirt and even was supported by Simon Cowell regarding the campaign. Styles even tweeted it, "Check out @Dolphin_Project," last sixth of October, 2014 and invited his fans for support.
According to Dolphin Project, Styles started his passion for saving marine creatures like dolphins after watching the Academy award-winning documentary, "The Cove" and "Blackfish". Truly, Styles made a big impact on this issue regarding animal captivity and made a positive awareness not only for One Direction fans but also to other people.
Also, according to Eonline, PETA's Senior Vice President Lisa Lange said, "It's no surprise that Harry Styles knows what young people care about-they love animals, and they hate businesses that hurt them, like SeaWorld's orca prisons do." And that PETA hopes that ", One Direction's devoted fans will join the thousands of people around the world who are calling on SeaWorld to retire the orcas to coastal sanctuaries."
Harry Styles was first known after his audition in the British television series: "The X Factor" in 2010 and later on belonged to an English- Irish boy group, One Direction, which is composed of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and by then member, Zayn Malik. The On the Road Tour Again 2015 started off last Seventh of February in Sydney, Australia and the succeeding show in the United States will be in Seattle on July 15. After the Seattle show, the boys will head on to Canada and will be back for again to tour in the United States on July 26.
