The 'Walking Dead' Season 6 might have numerous turn of events if Norman Reedus' character dies in the TV series. Without Daryl Dixon, one of the AMC series' most beloved characters, Season 6 would be considerably different, according to Design & Trend.
Possibly, old faces will get more attention from Daryl, who is Rick Grimes' faithful companion in Season 3 and Season 4. Michonne, more than anyone else, would also likely get attention from Rick. Design & Trend also pointed out that Grimes has a very close relationship with Tyreese. Paul Monroe, on the other hand, reportedly seems to have an edge as the current right hand.
Another character that would likely be affected by Dixon's departure from the series, if ever, is Beth. She and Daryl formed a strong bond following the events at the prison. He taught the young girl how to cope with her losses, and she reminded him that he still has a human side. These moments has reportedly affected Beth's character development, arming her with strength. According to the report, there is no comic book counterpart of Beth, so the possibilities on what would happen to her in the TV series is infinite.
Like Beth, Carol Paletier also found a confidante in Dixon and they have developed a strong relationship. Daryl reportedly also helped Carol, an abused woman, find her inner strength. They bonded over Carol's losses, and she successfully channeled that energy to become one of the show's most resilient survivors.
Design & Trend, however, noted that Carol's story in the TV series is drastically different from that in the comics. Tyreese protected her, but when that changed, she "unraveled completely." Daryl's inclusion in the TV series could then reportedly be viewed as the one that allowed the major change in her character.
