Anakin Skywalker Arrested For Reckless Driving

The force have failed the not so young Anakin Skywalker as he was arrested by local police after a chase. Yes, you heard it right, the young Darth Vader failed to use his Jedi powers to elude the arrest, he could have flipped cars or destroy a planet to hinder his arrest, but like what Luke (Skywalker) said, there is still good in him. Anyways, TMZ reported that former child actor, Jake Lloyd, who played the young Dark Lord in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace was arrested after an insane car chase that ended with the former Skywalker actor plowing into some trees.

Local enforcement said in an official statement that Lloyd was driving in Charleston, South Carolina, when the Sherrif's deputies started pursuing him and the chase was underway for at least for miles coming into another county. Lloyd eventually lost control of his car, which ran off the road, through a fence and into a wooded area where it struck several trees.

According to Gawker, the former Anakin Skywalker has begun passing cars on the double yellow line and began driving recklessly at high speeds. The fallen Jingle All The Way childstar faces charges of resisting arrest, reckless driving, driving without license, and failure to stop for a blue light. Lloyd will remain behind bars until he pays the bond of 10,700 credits.

Born Jake Matthew Lloyd on March 5, 1989 in Fort Collins, Colorado began his acting career in ER but got his big break in the movie Jingle All The Way as Jamie Langston. He then gained worldwide recognition when George Lucas picked him to play the young Darth Vader Anakin Skywalker in the film Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

Lloyd was treated for a small cut that he suffered from the crash.
