While everyone has been talking about the series' spin-off titled "Fear The Walking Dead," the popular zombie show "The Walking Dead" is already preparing for its Season 6 that will premiere this fall.
In Season 5, fans saw the deaths of several beloved characters. As per tradition, according to Blasting News, the showrunners will introduce a new set of characters for the sixth season that will fill the void of the deceased ones. One of the characters will be a guy named Heath, who will be played by "Iron Man 3" star Corey Antonio. He is reportedly a resident of Alexandria who will become good friends with the popular Asian character Glenn, who is played by Steven Yeun.
According to Catermatt, the show is also looking for two more people to play a married couple who will be introduced in Season 6 of the show. The man who is named Kirk is described as a mid-20s former blue collared worker who always played by the rules. However, he realized that in order to survive the apocalypse, he must forget the law and is determined to kill anyone who crosses his path. His wife named Hilda, who has the same age as Kirk, is described to have a strong and charismatic character.
Comic fans may notice that these names do not appear in the original work of Robert Kirkman, although there is a couple named Dwight and Sherry who reportedly fit into the above-mentioned descriptions.
It was also rumored that a new antagonist character named Negan will also be introduced in the new season. It has been reported that the showrunners still haven't found the right actor to play the role. Negan is said to be the potential villain in the story and is even worse compared to the former villain, the Governor.
AMC has not yet released the premiere date for the show, but it was reported that it will be unveiled most likely during the New York Comic-Con week.
