'Fifty Shades Darker' Movie Plot Spoilers: 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Sequel To Feature Raunchier Sex Scenes

"Fifty Shades of Grey" may have been a huge success even without the controversial sex scenes, but now, fans are looking forward to a raunchier sequel. After Universal Pictures confirmed the release of "Fifty Shades Darker" for 2017, there are speculations that there's a huge chance the second installment could feature more explicit scenes.

According to Latin Post, this could definitely be the case because Universal Pictures needs to experiment on the contents of the film. The report states that fans may have decided to watch "Fifty Shades of Grey" out of curiousity, but if raunchier sex scenes will still not be included in "Fifty Shades Darker," there's a huge chance they won't support the franchise anymore.

Meanwhile, the publication also noted that the production company and the film creators are hoping to receive an R rating despite possibly including some delicate scenes in the sequel.

In other news, "Fifty Shades" author E.L. James recently released a new novel titled "Grey," which is told from the perspective of Christian Grey. However, cast member Eloise Mumford previously said that none of them knew the author was releasing the said book. This has therefore led fans to speculate that Jamie Dornan, who plays the role of Christian, will not return to the franchise if "Grey" will eventually be adapted for the big screen.

According to Movie Pilot, Dornan is only bound by a contract to star in "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed." Therefore, if Universal Pictures wants to rehire him for "Grey," they would have to offer him a higher deal.

In the past, Dornan made headlines when reports swirled that he wanted to get a raise after seeing the success of "Fifty Shades of Grey." However, his demands were not granted because his contract already stated that he will be receiving the same amount for all three films.

"Fifty Shades Darker" will be released in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
