'Game of Thrones' Season 5 Finale Review: A Shocker for Non-Readers

The blockbuster Game of Thrones' Season Finale is a shocker in all angles, as reported by CNN. From the scope to its characters, the series is indeed hailed compelling and shocking at the same time. The television hit is not afraid to kill any of its characters, if it's their curtain call then it will be, no drama.

Recently, Jon Snow was the last key character to be killed in a very dramatic and heavy way. However, there were reports that he may live amid receiving numerous stab wounds (and probably puncturing his heart in the last stab) and massive blood lost, because when the camera fanned out, he was still breathing.

GOT is very impressive into building up their evil character into a monster then finally killing them to satisfy the viewers, like what happened to Joffrey. With John Stark's death, it is expected for Arya Stark to draw a plot to kill the diabolical and awful Meryn Trant.

One thing that is a drawback from the hit television series is its quick turnaround of story plots and several focus on character storylines. Since season 1, this is what the fans are clamoring about - take off some of the unnecessary storylines and focus on the bigger ones such as the attention-getters like Cersei's walk of shame and Arya's storyline.

On related news, The Atlantic said that the stabbing scene is nothing new for the book readers, but for those who are non-readers, this is a shocker. The mutiny was slowly building and everyone was just waiting for the hammer to drop on Jon, which finally struck him in the season finale.
