'Captain America: Civil War' Cast & Trailer: Hawkeye Talks Role, Says It's a 'Giant Movie' Like Avengers

One of the most anticipated Marvel movies is definitely "Captain America: Civil War" and one cast member has provided a bit more information about what we can expect from the movie.

Even though we're still a year away from the release of the film, actor Jeremy Renner, who plays Hawkeye, has revealed a little bit about his role in the upcoming 2016 film. Speaking to Uproxx, Renner teased everyone about the appearance of the arrow shooting hero.

Over the past few movies, we've see Barton's character grow in importance, from being an agent who is mind-controlled by Loki to becoming a central part of the film in "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

"They start shooting soon, yeah. I start toward the beginning of it. That's going to be a giant movie,Civil War, man." He also agreed when asked if it's going to be at par with an "Avengers" film.

"Kind of, yeah. A little bit. A little bit," he said. 

"Captain America: Civil War" Movie Details

Marvel Studio's third installment of "Civil War" is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo with the script being penned by Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus. The movie will set the stage for two of the biggest Marvel heroes to fight over the Superhuman Registration Act.

Cleveland provided the film's summary below:

"When the government forges an act designed to regulate all superhuman activity, Captain America and Iron Man form polarizing factions based on their opinions toward the idea, resulting in the two heroes coming to blows."

The official Plot Synopsis for the movie promises a "war" between Iron Man and Captain America: 

The events of the Age of Ultron left an imprint on the world, the collective governments of the world pass an act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. This polarizes opinion amongst the Avengers, causing two factions to side with Iron Man or Captain America, which causes an epic battle between former allies.

The storyline follows the story of the first and second installment as well as the "Age of Ultron" released days earlier. 

"Civil War" has another star studded cast that includes Renner, Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Daniel Bruhl (Helmut Zemo), Frank Grillo (Crossbones), and Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther).

"Captain America: Civil War" is scheduled for release on May 6, 2016.  No trailer or promotional photos have been revealed.
