'NBA 2K15' Locker Codes & Gameplay Updates: Video Game Predicts Championship for Golden State Warriors! Playoff Locker Codes Released!

Basketball fans all over the United States and perhaps even the world are now tuned in to the NBA as it entered the playoffs season to see which of their favorite teams make it to the end. However, watching the game live might not be necessary anymore as the simulation game, "NBA 2K15," has already predicted the champion.

According to the video game, The Golden State Warriors would be victorious in its 2015 campaign to take home the trophy. While real-life fans of the team might be hesitant to rejoice in the thought, especially since the decision was based on a video game, it seems that the decision is worth taking into consideration.

The result came in as developers of the video game checked the brackets in its game while also considering the teams with high betting odds, noted Game Spot. The result brought both the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers pitted against each other, with the former emerging as the victors.

As the developers ran the game, most of the results were pretty accurate as in real life with only a few deviations and upsets such as the lower-seeded Spurs overpowering the Clippers and the victory of the Nets.

A post in the video game's Facebook page also noted that the seeding played a vital role in the outcome of the simulation.

A report in Yahoo said that the Warriors' win was due to the pivotal role Stephen Curry played for his team and the deep bench which brings a roster of fresh legs ready to take on the situation in the court when substituted. Add to these is the group's strong and efficient defense and one would have a champion team in the making.

Meanwhile, their opponent, the Cavaliers, would sashay into the finals ahead of the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, and the Atlanta Hawks, but would prove to be helpless against the players of Golden State who are not called Warriors for nothing.

While it might seem silly to predict the result of the NBA via a video game, there were times in the past that the prediction was accurate - thanks to the detailed and accurate simulation of the game, said Game Rant.

The game predicted that the Miami Heat would win against the San Antonio Spurs in 2013, and it did.

Meanwhile, to celebrate the league's start of the playoff season, the video game offered a random Locker Code that players could avail to get free items in the game.

The announcement was made via Twitter and the code has been available for players in all platforms beginning April 19.
