Nike Release Dates 2015: KD 7, LeBron 12, Kobe 10 'Elite Team Collection' Price & Where To Buy Details [Photos]

Nike basketball fans would soon have new things to be excited about. The global sports brand is coming out with a new collection composed of the top three sneakers from its signature shoe line just in time for the NBA teams to head into the playoffs.

This Friday, the new Nike Basketball Elite Series would come out with three sneakers that feature modern designs and vibrant colorways. Included in the "Elite" collection are the latest shoe offering from the Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant signature lines.

The Kobe X Elite, LeBron 12 Elite, and KD 7 Elite are the most recent pairs of shoes from Nike to hit stores soon.

The NBA stars have been instrumental in this project as Nike aimed to come up with shoes that are not only modern and fresh but also highly functional. Bryant, James, and Durant were hands-on in letting the global sports brand know what they want and what they need in the court, said Nike.

Their collaboration extends from the brainstorming stage to design, and they eventually got involved in testing the shoes before these get rolled out into the market. Nike's partnership with these top athletes led their brand to "new construction methods, state-of-the-art materials and technical innovations."

The three shoes in the "Elite" Series Team Collection come in new colorways that represent each player's team colors.

Kobe X "Elite" features the same technology that comes with the tenth shoe collaboration of the Los Angeles Lakers star with Nike. Officially tagged as the ink/Persian violet/ volt/reflect silver, the sneaker offers a predominantly purple body that screams "Lakers" in its wake.

Its upper portion is made of Flyknit material combined with the Flywire technology. These two innovations give the shoe maximum support, strength, and breathability which are exactly what Bryant needs inside the hard court. Not only is the design durable, it is also environmentally friendly with the Flyknit material made from recycled polyester yarn.

The Kobe X "Elite" would be available for $225 a pair.

Durant's seventh signature shoe's color is officially tagged as blue graphite/ bright citrus/ dove grey/ volt. According to Bleacher Report, the sneaker's design took into consideration the performance without sacrificing design.

The upper is made of Hyperposite material that gives ample support for the ankles, while the Nike Zoom Air cushioning softens the impact of every step.

KD 7 "Elite" would be sold at $200 a pair.

LeBron 12 returns to the "Elite" Team Series collection after being absent in 2014, wrote Sneaker News. The shoe's official color is university red/ bright citrus/ bright crimson/ white. It would also be available for customization with the Nike ID.

The Lebron 12 "Elite" would be available for $275, while the LeBron 12 "Elite" ID would be sold for $320.

The Nike Basketball Elite Series Team Collection drops to Nike stores and retailers on April 17.
