James Bond New Movie 2015: 'Spectre'-Inspired Homes That Wow

Daniel Craig will once again return to the big screen to reprise his role in the latest installment of Ian Fleming's James Bond series, "Spectre 007". The trailer for the movie, slated to be shown on Nov. 2015, has just been released.

In the meantime, you can check out these amazing James Bond-inspired homes that truly fit the bill.

The Hole In The Ground

Don't let the size of this home fool you; it may look a lot less impressive at first glance, but it packs a surprise punch, much like Agent 007.

A good portion of the house was built underground and it will simply blow you away once you step inside. The interior features include an indoor pool with Jacuzzi, a sauna and steam room, a fitness space, and an immense sports room at the basement where you can find a bar area and a game room for playing football or cricket, the Mirror reports.

The five-bedroom and ten-bathroom Cheshire property, which the owner dubbed as "the hole in the ground," also has private living quarters for house help. Outdoors, one can find a sizable football pitch, a helipad, and multiple well-manicured lawns.

The property owner and Widnes Vikings director Steve O'Connor was, initially, faced with building restrictions to construct a structure above ground that would fit their standards, as noted by the Liverpool Echo.

He and his architect, eventually, came up with a plan to build down into the ground, and transform the property ten times its original size -- a clever maneuver like the many cunning moves our British secret agent have pulled off time and again.

The "James Bond" House

The property is so named because of its '60s vibe that is as cool as our favorite protagonist, says Joanne Renfer, real estate agent, in an email to The Huffington Post B.C.

According to its listing, the 12,852 square foot property in Tsawwassen, B.C. is the best lot on the Centennial Beach, and commands a price tag of $2.5 million. The beachfront home is highlighted by its modern rooflines, glass panels in the kitchen, and glass walls all the way to the floor, says the HuffPost. "The cabinets are even spray-painted with Mercedes-Benz paint".

The "James Bond" home is 2,395 square feet in size, with three beds and two baths. Daniel White, a modernist architect known for his "daring and innovative" house designs, was behind the project that was constructed back in 1977.

West Vancouver's Finest

Apparently, the house is big on security, to the point that if James Bond actually stayed at the place, he would have had the peace of mind he needed with the nine security cameras the home was equipped with, as per Nick Neacsu. He would also be delighted to know that even when he's out halfway across the globe, on some dangerous mission, he can still command and operate the home functions through an iPad with its Control4 system.

This luxury custom-built Vancouver estate has four bedrooms and five baths. It is nestled on a 17,799 square foot high land that boasts of a spectacular panoramic ocean and Lions Gate Bridge views. It was designed by Craig Chevalier and constructed by Linda Burger.

According to The Vancouver Sun, the 7,000 square foot contemporary property in Burkehill Road is so beautiful it was just listed on the market for one day before the new owner found it and bought it in May 2013. Karim Bhatia and Derek Grech of Angell Hasman & Associates Realty listed the property for $7,500,000 but was taken for a discounted price of $7,300,000.

The home also features floors made out of imported Indiana limestone, a gourmet chef's kitchen with professional Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, "an infinity pool, two fireplaces, and an outdoor theatre with heaters, surround sound, and a television", the Vancouver Sun notes.
