Here are the Top 7 real estate sales on the combined L.A./Westside Multiple Listing Service from March 29 to April 4, as reported by Los Angeles Times. Rick James' onetime home and Donald Kushner's Malibu property are on the list.

1. $13.75 million, Beverly Hills

From its Redfin listing, the Contemporary classic Beverly Hills home measuring almost 9300 sq.ft rests on a 29, 500 sq. ft. of corner lot. The estate boasts high ceilings and spanning glass walls to emphasize the beautifully-manicured grounds outside. 3. $6.475 million, Manhattan Beach

The 9-bedroom home boasts a 6-car garage and 3 fireplaces, notes the blog. Aside from that, it reportedly comes with a bonus separate income property. Stephanie Krauss and Kristofer Denton of Shorewood Realtors were the agents.

4. $6.4 million, Malibu

This formerly-owned Malibu home by "Tron" film producer, Donald Kushner, was a 128 sq.ft. wide oceanfront contemporary property which was previously offered for monthly rental rate of $20,000. The more than 2000 sq. ft. home has an open-area floor plan with the views of Rancho Palos Verdes to Point Dume, says LA Times.

5. $6.05 million, Pacific Palisades

This Pacific Palisades home was originally designed by Matt Kivlin, AIA, a famous 1950s surfing pioneer and surfboard builder, says Home Seekers. The home showcases 12-foot high ceilings and naturally light-filled living space. It has a media room and office, perfect for a workaholic's vacation house. Amazing ocean views await the new homeowners. Todd Baker of Coldwell Banker was the listing agent. Steve Frankel, of Coldwell Banker, represented the buyer.

6. $5.71 million, Hollywood Hills

The onetime home of the late Grammy-award winning musician and composer, Rick James, sits above Studio City and offers wonderful mountain views. The two-story home boasts a lagoon-style pool and spa, a koi pond, an outdoor kitchen equipped with a brick oven, a gym and a sauna, says Canyon News. LA Times notes Lee Ziff and Stephanie Kacandes of Keller Williams Beverly Hills were the listing agents. David Philp of Kensington Realty represented the buyer.

7. $5.45 million, Malibu

LA Times reports that this Ron Firestone-designed Mediterranean home resting on 1.43 acres of land has more than 10,300 sq.ft. of living space. The Malibu home includes a chef's kitchen, a gym and sauna and a spacious master suite equipped with his-and-hers closet. There is also a walk-in wine room for fine drinking aficionados' delight. Christopher Cortazzo of Coldwell Banker and Karen J. Crystal and Nicolette LaPorta of Ewing & Associates Sotheby's International Realty were the listing agents. Karen J. Crystal represented the buyer, too.
