'Microsoft Surface Pro 4' Release Date, Specs & News: Tablet Confirmed? Firm Answers Pro 4 Question in Q&A

With the unveiling of the Apple's new MacBook Air with Retina Display, all eyes turn to Microsoft as anticipation builds over the expected Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

In a new report by TechCrunch, a recent Reddit Q&A about its products led to a question about the rumored Pro 4.
An audience member pitched in the question, "What can you tell us abut the Surface Pro 4 other than it will not be released until Windows 10 drops?"

The Surface Team rep didn't dillydally in its response and kept it short and simple with "Nothing."

While the answer doesn't give much away, it should be noted that the reply isn't a confirmation, it wasn't a denial either allowing hopeful Microsoft fans to continue anticipating the next-generation device.

Surface 3 and the Surface Pro 4

As earlier reported, the Microsoft Surface 3 has just been announced. The new laplet is said to be a direct competitor of Apple's iPad.
The device boasts of all the power you can expect from a laptop but is offered to you in a small, compact body.

The Surface 3 comes with Quad-core Intel Atom x7 processor, 64-bit Window 8.1 OS but is upgradable to the Windows 10 system, once available. The Surface 3 starts at $499 while the LTE version is $100 more expensive at $599. The device were made available for pre-order at the beginning of this month, April 1.

Just because the Surface 3 has hit the market, this doesn't mean that the Surface Pro 4 won't be following. Per PhoneArena, it's believed that the highly-anticipated Surface Pro 4 will be hitting the shelves in October, so that they'll be preprogrammed with the newest OS, the Windows 10.

It's believed that the next-generation Surface Pro, which follows last year's successful Surface Pro 3, will come with LTE capabilities and come with Intel's Core M Processor.

There are additional rumors the device may be released in two models, a 12-inch and 14-inch variants.

The Surface Pro 3 line has been reduced in price and new bundle packages being offered. This signifies a possible new product release that enables suppliers to let go of old stocks to make way for new items.

Are you waiting for the upcoming Surface Pro 4 or eager to get your hands on what's available -- either the Surface 3 or Surface Pro 3. Stay tuned for more.
