'Elder Scrolls 6' 'Fallout 4' PS4, XBox One: Release Leaked! Insider Says Mid-2016 Launch for Both Games [Rumors]

One of the biggest question for the upcoming E3 2015 is whether Bethesda will be releasing the long-awaited new titles for "Elder Scrolls" and "Fallout."

While rumors have been offering different details as to release dates for the games, new reports (via Cyberland) now indicate we may not be seeing a title release for either franchise in 2015.

The site claims that an employee for Bethesda has leaked, through LinkedIn, that "Fallout 4" will be available not this year but further down the road, specifically in May 2016.

"A guy who works for Bethesda named Gino Cole posted in his LinkedIn profile that he has been part of the development team for Fallout 4 for 3 years now. His page also mentions that Fallout 4 is planned to be released this May 2016," shared Cyberland.

It's been previously reported by other sources that the "Fallout 4" would most likely be released in 2015, specifically during the upcoming E3 and "Elder Scrolls 6" would follow next year. With "Elder Scrolls Online" (to be relaunched as "Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" later this month) being a main focus, it was expected that in terms of new title releases, more attention would be given to the "Fallout" franchise.

IGN estimated in an earlier report that with Bethesda hosting its first-ever E3 conference, big news would be surfacing. "The title most expect to be announced is Fallout 4, rumors of which have been flying for years. After a couple of years of rumors, including a reference from a voice actor in 2013, a trademark for Fallout 4 in Europe, and even a website that ended up being a hoax, leaked documents back in 2013 suggested the title would be set in Massachusetts," wrote the online publication.

Other Title Releases in E3 2015?

While it's still possible to see either or both games during the E3, BitBag did offer an alternative saying it's possible that during the hosted conference we would see an different titles being unveiled.

"An E3 event is a big thing, and it's the perfect avenue for a Fallout 4 announcement. Still, with the magnitude of the said event, Gamepur correctly thought that Fallout 4 wouldn't be the only game they could give credence to. There are a list of other games they could choose to reveal-there's The Elder Scrolls VI, Dishonored, a sequel to Fallout: New Vegas, or something entirely new coming from Bethesda's Studios. As they have neither confirmed nor deny anything, all that is up in the air," assessed the website.

However, this new May 2016 report could mean we'll see a dual launch next year. Recalling an earlier report by Master Herald, another leak suggested that "Elder Scrolls 6" may be released March 2016.

The last release for "Fall Out was 2008's "Fallout 3" while "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" was launched back in 2011.
