American rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has recently purchased a $35 million mega-mansion in Beverly Hills in an off-market deal.
The rapper bought a 20,000-square-foot property on a nearly seven-acre land inside the star-studded North Beverly Park neighborhood. The property features 11 bedrooms and 18 bathrooms for $35 million under an LLC.
Other amenities in Ye's new mega-mansion include a resort-style waterfall pool, a pool for swimming laps, a pool house, and a gazebo. An entertainment pavilion and a paddle tennis court are also connected to the main house.
The purchase was first reported by TMZ. It is unclear if Ye has plans to reconstruct the mansion.
The outlet noted that the rapper snagged quite a deal with the mansion, adding that Honey co-founder George Ruan paid nearly $45 million when he bought a property in the same neighborhood last week.

Ye's Bomb Shelter in Malibu
The rapper's purchase of the Beverly Hills home comes a month after he could finally sell his gutted property in Malibu for $21 million. He originally bought the home in 2021 for $57 million and listed it in December 2023 for $53 million.
Ye failed to find a buyer for months after he completely gutted the property, hiring contractors to remove all the windows and electricity in an attempt to transform it into a "bomb shelter." Belwood Investments bought the mansion in September and said it is committed to restoring the property to its original condition, which would cost roughly $8 million.
Ye's Lawsuit
He is currently facing a lawsuit for gutting the Malibu property, in which Ye allegedly violated several labor codes. The lawsuit was filed by his former project manager, Tony Saxon, who claimed he injured his back while working on the Malibu mansion and was forced to spend days on the property without food or bedding.
Furthermore, Saxon alleged that Ye wrongfully terminated him after he argued against removing all the windows and electricity from the house and refused to bring large power generators into the property for safety reasons.
