Deirdra's first career wasn't real estate. In fact, she took her desire to change lives and set her sights on education. She achieved a degree in Elementary Education, and then, later, a master's degree in Instructional Design and Technology. As a Navy wife, Dee-Dee lived in various duty stations over the years. This military lifestyle allowed her to gain extensive experience in the field of education while teaching in places like Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico, Memphis, Tennessee, Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Orange Park, Florida.
During these years, she enjoyed volunteering time to help military families by researching local schools, possible places of employment for other Navy spouses, and off-base housing. This, as well as the purchase of her first home, sparked an interest in real estate, which she later decided to follow by obtaining a real estate license. Assisting others with their real estate needs allowed Deirdra to make a decent income and have a flexible schedule, which enabled her to spend more quality time with her three sons.
After working as a real estate sales associate for a number of years, Dee-Dee went on to establish her brokerage in 2016.
