Everyday different houses and properties are getting flipped by real estate agents and property enthusiasts with one goal, get a higher resale value and earn profit from it. Flipping properties is a common practice in the real estate world, and it takes hard work to upgrade and renovate a house and make an instant closed deal.

Just like a couple who purchased an abandoned Pennsylvania elementary school five years ago. But instead of selling the property to another institution, the couple transformed the old school to their very own home.

Currently, the so-called "School House" is listed for a whopping $2.37 million, but real estate listing fans are not buying it. Instead they are sharing how the school turned mansion is giving them a seriously creepy vibe.

Property Details

According to the property listing, the former abandoned property in Mount Morris was built in 1965. The 14,716 square feet property sits on a sprawling 11.43-acre lot.

"This building was formerly Perry Elementary School. Fully renovated. Can be used as a rehab facility, personal care home, assisted living home, medical/outpatient clinic, foster care facility, executive retreat, or any other professional use," the Zillow listing reads.

It is now a single-family home with four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a massive garage that could fit a total of 30 cars.

Upon entering the house, you will be greeted by a signage that says "Welcome" and "The School House." As soon as you turn on your right, a creepy dark hallway will lead you to the other eerie parts of the house.

The Pennsylvania mansion for sale also features an arcade room, home fitness center, and an indoor basketball court, which served as the student's gym before. The old campus cafeteria was converted into a full kitchen and most of the old classrooms were transformed as bedrooms.

But the part of the house that gave ultimate creeps is one bathroom that still includes several child-size urinals, while other rooms still have intact whiteboards.

While the couple exerted money and effort to renovate the old school intp a ranch-style home, the entire property still looks gloomy with some of its windowless rooms.

According to the New York Post, the former owners of the "School House" reportedly moved to a lakefront property.

The internet reacts

Meanwhile, the former abandoned property turned mansion has been going rounds on social media recently. It started after TikTok user Zillotastrophes posted a video featuring the house's listing on Zillow.

"I don't know about you, but I could never live here," the TikTok user said.

"The woman who bought the house is a nurse, so she converted the nurse's office to her own nurse's office," she added.

While some find the transformation so cool, others expressed how the listing photos gave them creepy vibes. What made it more strange is the fact that the property is located next to a cemetery.

"Uhhh weird vibes," one TikTok user wrote.

"Don't they say schools usually have ghosts?" another one added.

One user quipped: "Seems haunted to me byeee."
