VIRAL: Mannequin-Filled California Home Zillow Listing Creeps Out Real Estate Enthusiasts

Another day, another unusual Zillow listing because the internet is a gift that keeps on giving.

Recently, internet users, particularly those millennials who find satisfaction in browsing real estate listing, stumbled upon a house for sale that gets weird as you explore the house through the listing photos.

The 2,116 square-foot property located in a prime area of South Lake Tahoe is up in the market for $650,000. The California house for sale features five bedrooms and three bathrooms, complete with a spacious driveway.

The listing described the property as something with "great income property potential." It is strategically located near casinos, beaches, shopping centers, cinemas, and ski areas. Three bedrooms and two baths could be found upstairs, while two bedrooms and one bathroom are at the same level as the one-car garage.

However, real estate fans got curious with the last part of the listing, which states: "Property to be sold as-is."

At first glance, the duplex looks like an average home. It has a spacious driveway, a messy yet roomy living area, a boring bedroom, an old-fashion kitchen, and a completely normal bathroom.

Looking at the listing photos, the house, which according to the New York Post, was built in 1962, seems to have stayed the same and never underwent upgrade throughout the years. There's much clutter everywhere, including a pile of dirty laundry and leftover food boxes in the dining area.

Dummies Everywhere

While the mess itself is pretty unusual for listing photos, it gets creepy as you peek inside the second unit and be greeted by tons of mannequins lounging around the house.

In the living room, a long-haired mannequin dressed in a long turquoise gown stands beside the TV as if welcoming and preparing you to a spookier part of the house.

When you turn to the other side, at least eight mannequins in colorful gowns were scattered around the living room. Two were lounging on a chaise sofa, three posing near the mirror, and another three waiting near a dining table.

But wait, there's more! A separate room in the other unit is full of plastic ladies, baby dolls, and a random statue of the Virgin Mary trying to blend in with the crowd.

The master's bedroom is not exempted as the queen-size bed is guarded by a blonde mannequin in her bright evening gown.

And since the listing made it clear that the property is "sold as-is," then these mannequins will surely come in handy as your new housemates.

The California house for sale listing immediately went viral on social media, with Twitter users sharing their initial reaction to the creepy Zillow listing.

"At first, I was like, "that's just some messy renters... Then "WTF is going on in here," one Twitter user said.

"Initially, I thought the hoard was the focus. Then I got to photo number 12, and I gasped," another one added.

One user quipped: "Why are all the rooms WITHOUT terrifying mannequins super messy. But rooms WITH terrifying mannequins decorated like Putin's boudoir?"
