George Clooney, Amal Alamuddin Have What In Their English Mansion?

Superstar couple George Clooney, 53, and Amal Alamuddin, 37, are reportedly installing their very own panic room in their home. While undergoing renovations, the couple are said to be adding the high-security feature for emergencies.

According to Us Magazine, a source revealed that the room will be incorporated in the newlywed's mansion in Berkshire, England. "They are having a panic room installed," disclosed the source of couple married since September 2014. "It'll be fireproof, bombproof, and attack-resistant."

Given how high-profile both celebrities are in their field, Amal being someone that's recognized in the field of law with many controversial cases and George with his own humanitarian causes and status as an A-Lister, they can never be too careful.

"Amal has high-profile clients in controversial cases," explained the insider and there is a need to protect sensitive information she may be bringing to their home. "She needs to be secure."

The couple wed in Italy about six months ago (September 2014) and spent their honeymoon in the British manor. The source (via Us) adds that "the manor is set back from the road in a remote countryside and is said to be luxurious, well-decorated, and super-private.

George Clooney Admires and Concedes to Wife's Intelligence

Clooney knows that his wife Amal, being an international human rights lawyer, isn't your average woman. Speaking at the SeriousFun Children's Network 2015 on Monday, Mail Online reports that Clooney accidentally overestimated the number of countries in the world but managed to take it in stride and even mention his wife.

"Since 1988, these camps have helped over a half million sick kids and their families from over five, from over 50, not just 500 countries... that would be too many. There aren't that many... Are there 500 countries?" and went on to admit his mistake and praise his wife, "My wife's the smart one."

Later on he also told Extra that Amal had prior engagements and couldn't accompany him to the event. "She's trying to get a guy out of prison in Egypt I think, so she's working,' revealed Clooney and added, "She's got her own, she's got a lot of stuff to do."

"The Monuments Men" star also took a moment to gush over his wife. "I'm very happy. It's exciting,' he said of marriage. "I really love my wife, I'm having a great time and I'm very proud of her. I couldn't be more proud of the things she does."
