Fans are eagerly waiting for the first-ever WWE Fastlane 2015 Pay-Per-View event, but WWE made sure that the upcoming episode of SmackDown will be a treat to the fans.
Here is a quick rundown of all the matches that took place at BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida based on spoilers from WrestlingInc website:
Daniel Bryan will be in one of the featured matches for Fastlane on Sunday and fans got a glimpse of what he is capable of doing despite coming off a layoff. He opened the show for Thursday's episode with an easy win over former WWE champion The Miz, who interrupted his promo alongside Damien Mizdow.
Ryback and Kane then engaged in a match that did not appeal too much to fans in Florida. Ryback got a pop, though, when he Shellshocked Kane on his way to victory.
Bad News Barrett faced R-Truth in a non-title match. With Dean Ambrose on commentary, Barrett was obviously not into the match and R-Truth took advantage en route to a win. Ambrose and Barrett are set to collide for the WWE Intercontinental championship at WWE Fastlane 2015 PPV.
Following the match, a video package for John Cena and Rusev was shown, and Bray Wyatt had another mysterious promo where he said: "find me or I'll find you."
The Ascension then defeated Big E and Xavier Woods in the ensuing match. Roman Reigns and Luke Harper engaged in an interesting battle. Harper had brilliant moments, particularly when he dodged a Superman punch and hit Reigns with a brutal super kick. However, Reigns still emerged victorious with a spear.
In the next match, Big Show annihilated Erick Rowan, which was followed by a victory for Paige against Cameron. The Bellas, who joined the announcers for the match, engaged in a heated argument with Paige afterwards.
WWE then announced that Stardust and Goldust will face each other on Sunday's Fastlane.
Jimmy Uso and Tyson Kidd were supposed to face each other, but Rusev suddenly came out and took down Jimmy Uso and Kidd along with Jey Uso. Fans chanted the name of John Cena, but the superstar did not appear until Rusev left the ring. Rusev and Cena will go up against each other on Sunday for the United States title.
In the main event of the upcoming episode, Seth Rollins defeated Dolph Ziggler. After the match, a huge brawl involving Big Show, Kane Luke Harper, Ryback and Eric Rowan took place to end the show.
