Champions League Live Stream, Highlights & Results: Real Madrid vs Schalke 04, FC Basel vs FC Porto Wednesday

Real Madrid will resume their title defense when they take on Schalke 04 in the Last-16 of the UEFA Champions League, while FC Basel will collide with FC Porto in the other game of the day.

Real Madrid, who won the Champions League last season by beating domestic rival Atletico Madrid, will look to silence the crowd at the Veltins-Arena in Germany.

The holders will be a heavy favorite heading into the match after sweeping all of their games in Group B to finish with 18 points. Schalke, on the other hand, needed some luck to advance after getting just eight points from two wins, two defeats and two draws. Real Madrid also dominated the German club in the Last 16 last season.

However, Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos warned his teammates, saying that they will be facing a determined Schalke squad, who has shown improvements under former Champions League-winning coach Roberto Di Matteo.

"It won't be easy," Kroos said of their upcoming match against Schalke. "Schalke are enjoying success in the Bundesliga. They are well organized; they drew in Munich and are strong at the back. With their new manager they have become extremely solid in defense."

All eyes will also be on Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been struggling for his club as of late. The superstar forward has not scored a goal since their win against Getafe a month ago, but Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti believes Ronaldo will end his drought on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, FC Porto will look to remain unbeaten in the Champions League when they travel to Switzerland to face FC Basel at St Jakob-Park.

Porto, who ended up on top of Group H with four wins and two draws, have been sharp over their past several games, particularly Jackson Martinez, who has scored 12 goals in their last 13 games. They will be a slight favorite heading into the match, but coach Julen Lopetegui expects a tough match.

"This tie will be well-balanced," Lopetegui told the Champions League website. "Paulo Sousa is doing a great job at Basel, and he and his team showed a lot of character during the group stage. They are also very experienced, full of international players. They've prepared for this game for practically two months, so they are ready."

Both matches are scheduled to start at 2:45 p.m. EST. Fans can catch the Real Madrid vs Schalke and Basel vs Porto games via live stream on Fox Soccer 2 Go, Sky Go and ITV Player. Live scores and results are available here, while video highlights will be posted on this link.
