KD 7 EXT 'Floral' Release Date, Price & Where to Buy? [Photos]

Fans of Kevin Durant's shoe collaboration with Nike are in for a treat this February. The seventh signature shoe of the NBA star with the famous global sports brand is coming out with a "floral" colorway that is sure to be a hit among ladies and perhaps, even male fans of Durant as well.

According to Nike's official website, the new design, which features a rose print, is a tribute to the Oklahoma City Thunder forward's rise above adversity and challenges that he faced before becoming the NBA's Most Valuable Player.

The shoe's base is a vintage rose-print design on satin in midnight blue, green, gold and red colors. The hazelnut brown color of the shoe's tongue, midfoot strap and edge of inner lining enhances the base's deep and rich color combinations.

A midnight blue shoelace complements the color mixes and adds elegance to the whole look of the low-cut sneaker.

Meanwhile, a clear-colored Nike swoosh is found on the outer side of the sneaker. The transparent color adds an uninterrupted view of the rose print-design underneath it.

While a white midsole supports the whole shoe, its transparent heel part shows the Zoom Air technology, which is one of the features the KD 7 is known for.

"KD" initials are imprinted on the shoe's hazelbrown tongue, which gives the sneaker that distinct feel known only to KD shoes.

According to Kicks on Fire, the new KD 7 "Floral" is coming to Nike retailers and online stores on Feb. 12.

Because of the limited stocks made for this colorway, Nike website noted that only 1 pair would be sold per customer.

The shoe would be sold at $200 a pair, said XXL Mag.

This is the third time Nike has come up with a design featuring flower print for Durant's signature shoes.

In Feb. 2014, Nike came out with a supreme variation of the KD 6 in the "Aunt Pearl" colorway. This sixth signature shoe design of Durant featured a floral print and blue pattern all over the shoe.

Light pink roses covered the shoe's base with a blue tongue and blue swoosh. A darker pink shoelace completed the look for this design, reported Sneaker News. The colorway was a tribute to the NBA star's favorite aunt, Pearl.

Another floral-printed KD 6 came out on March 2014. The KD 6 "Floral" featured a floral weave on the whole shoe with metal rings for the shoelaces, detailed the Nike website. The first officially titled "Floral" colorway from the Durant shoe line-up was a mix of black and green shades.
