'Madam Secretary' Season 2 Cast, Spoilers: Eric Stoltz to Play Elizabeth McCord's Brother, Morgan Freeman to Join In

While many are on the wait for the return of the CBS political drama "Madam Secretary" on Oct. 4, Cartermatt reports some spoilers for the upcoming season. A new cast is heading on to star in the drama. As reported, Eric Stoltz was chosen to play a character in the "Madam Secretary."

Entertainment Weekly has known that Stoltz will portray the character of Peter, Elizabeth McCord's (Tea Leoni) brother in the series. Cartermatt said that Stoltz character is someone who does have vague moves and has had a deal of adventures in the past. His character's relationship with Elizabeth recoils some previous conflicts and that he may fix some of these issues on his appearance on the series.

It was also reported in the article of EW that the "Some Kind of Wonderful" actor may appear in an episode airing in November. Aside from Stoltz' appearance, it was reported earlier that Morgan Freeman who also is the executive producer of "Madam Secretary" will also join in the second season's casting. The Oscar award-winning actor will play a Supreme Court Justice and will share scenes with Tea Leoni. Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will also appear on the upcoming season.

The said first episode of "Madam Secretary" season 2 is named "The Show Must Go on" and it will also be directed by Eric Stoltz. Crossmap includes some spoilers for the upcoming season 2 episode, it was said in their article that "Air Force One" will disappear and that Elizabeth McCord ends up taking an oath for the office. Meanwhile, McCord's husband Henry (Tim Daly) is appointed to hire one of his russian students to work in the US government.

Stoltz was known in the films like "Some Kind of Wonderful" and "Pulp Fiction." He was also a regular director of the TV series "Glee" and he also played a role in the recently released 2015 comedy film, "Larry Gaye: Renegade Male Flight Attendant."
