"Hannibal" Season 3 has been scheduled to return to television in June but not much detail was revealed regarding the highly watched show. However, NBC released the third season's official poster which shows the titular villain, played by Mads Mikkelsen, with a direct, daunting stare, paired with a caption that said, "Savor the hunt."

Moreover, Ecumenical News  reported that the titles of the upcoming season's first few episodes were leaked online. Episode 1 will be titled "Antipasto," followed by "Primavera" and "Secondo." Following what seems to be a trend for Season 3, Episode 7 was given the title "Digestivo." However, it still remains unclear how the episode will be linked with the "dining" theme. Considering that it will be an episode from "Hannibal," the audience is expecting something disturbing.

However, fans have been recently gifted with even more information regarding the upcoming season. According to show runner Bryan Fuller's statements to Digital Spy, the show might enter a more action-packed territory - one that is pretty much similar with James Bond's action styles.

"It is Hannibal as James Bond," he said. "There are qualities of that that we wanted to bring to the first chapter of the third season - which is the Italy-based material."

When the show finally returns, the first episode is reportedly devoid of Graham as it will be all about Hannibal and his relationship with Bedelia Du Maurier. "It really does feel like, 'What are we watching?'" revealed Fuller. "Will Graham is not in it - none of the other familiar characters are in it. It is just Hannibal and Bedelia, and their history over three different periods of time."

Still, the infamous doctor was still reportedly pining over Graham even though Hannibal was in Florence with Bedelia. "There is just a hint of 'Wouldn't this be better if it were me and Will Graham?'" said Fuller. "In terms of Hannibal thinking that and what he misses."

The relationship Hannibal has with Bedelia, who also happens to be his psychiatrist, will never be as intimate with the one that he has with Graham.

"Hannibal" Season 3 will reportedly pick up where Season 2 left off which was a gruesome scene - as is every episode from the show. Last season's finale episode, titled "Mizumono," featured Hannibal stabbing Graham with a knife, slitting Abigail's throat, and leaving other victims bleeding in his wake, before he flies off to Europe with Bedelia.

Season 3 will be featuring 13 episodes starting on June 4, with its season finale estimated to air on September 3. Mikkelsen will be joined by his fellow mainstay cast member, Hugh Dancy, who plays the role of the criminal profiler, Will Graham.
