'Pitch Perfect 2' Trailer, Cast & Release Date: Teaser Released, Trailer Arriving Thursday

"We're Back Pitches," pretty much sums it up.

In the new teaser photo making rounds over Twitter, the Bellas are back in the follow up to the 2012 smash hit "Pitch Perfect." The comedy, marking the directorial debut of film actress Elizabeth Banks, will show the Bellas at a different stage in their life.

The poster features the Bellas striking some fierce poses while turned facing away from the camera. "Pitch please! The Bellas are back in theaters 5.15.15. Exclusive new trailer tomorrow!"

In addition to the new photo and upcoming trailer, the gorgeous leading ladies of "Pitch Perfect" -- stars Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, and Rebel Wilson -- are featured on the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly hitting stands on Friday. The infamous faces of the Barden Bellas look adorable with their coiffed hair, feather boas and big smiles. as they smile for the cameras decked out in bright pink, orange and red outfits.

While the cast of the sequel, "Pitch Perfect 2" were at the movie set in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, EW dropped by for a visit and spilled some fantastic film detail that eager fans are sure to enjoy.

According to the publication, Beca and Jesse, played by Kendrick and Skylar Astin, are going to be interns in a music company.

"Any first-day jitters?" Jesse asks. "No," Beca responds. "I'm just going to be moody and distant-artists love that, right?"

The feature also picked up a few works from the woman in charge of the film, who also plays Effie Trinket in major blockbuster "The Hunger Games."

"This is the stupidest idea I've ever had," joked the actress-director Banks during a break. "My first movie is this huge studio movie that a lot of people care about that also happens to be a musical with massive dance numbers. I don't know what I was thinking."

Elizabeth, who served as a producer and sassy Judge Gail in the original film, is facing stiff competition as "Avengers: Age of Ultron" opens two weeks earlier.

"The first film flew under the radar, and it was a gift," explained Banks. "This time around, much higher stakes."

She added: "Everybody is much more involved," she adds. "As the saying goes, 'Success has many fathers.' "

Speaking to Yahoo! during an earlier interview, Banks filled in some blanks regarding the characters: "The girls are now graduating seniors. They're coming to the end of their time as Bellas and figuring out how to sort of leave the nest and the comfort of each other's friendship and figure out what they're going to do with the rest of their lives."

"Pitch Perfect 2" hits theaters May 15, 2015.
