Fantasy writer P.C. Cast has listed her home in Tulsa, OK, for $1.99 million.
The 5,366-square-foot home, built in 2000, is spread across over three-quarters of an acre in the gated Woody Crest community. The property features four bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two half baths, Realtor reports.
The Tulsa home boasts seven fireplaces including one in the master bath, central air conditioning, a clay tile roof and a swimming pool. Exteriors come with an electric gate, decorative lighting, professional landscaping and a patio area.
The listing agent on the home is Peter Walter of Walter & Associates of Tulsa, OK.
Cast, famously known for the "House of Night" series, started her professional career as a United States Air Force member and then served as an English professor for 15 years.
As an author, Cast has penned the "House of Night" series along with her daughter, Kristin Cast; Goddess Summoning and Partholon book series.
"I love writing with Kristin! Being an author is usually such a solitary job that it's nice to have someone else in it with me. Plus, knowing that Kristin is going to go over everything I write takes a lot of stress off me. I don't have to worry about sounding too old or too young - Kristin will fix that. I just write the story," Cast said, House of Night reports.
Cast's first book in 2001, Goddess by Mistake, won the Prism, Holt Medallion, and Laurel Wreath awards, and was a finalist for the National Readers' Choice Award.
In March 2009, Hunted, the fifth book in the "House of Night" series, topped the best-seller lists of USA Today and The Wall Street Journal.
In November 2011, producer Samuel Hadida's company, Davis Films acquired film rights from authors P.C. and Kristin Cast to their "House of Night" young adult fiction book series.
