Kingdom Hearts 3 to Include Daybreak Town in 3D Version; Presumed to Release in 2017

Kingdom Hearts 3 to include Daybreak Town in 3D version, presumed release is in 2017.

The shortage of news about the much anticipated Kingdom Hearts 3 has resulted to a number of rumors, among them is the likelihood of a DayBreak Town inclusion in the game.

The Gamers Joint talked about this possibility through a YouTube video where the moderator spoke about the expected video on the making of this game at a D23 event. In the said event, Square Enix, the game's developer, took in a 3D edition of Daybreak Town. But according to Gaming Bolt, there seems to be no reason for this inclusion if this will not be featured in the forthcoming "Kingdom Hearts 3."

Daybreak Town is said to be the focal point for a player, the same with Traverse Town and Radiant Garden. Vine Report shared a rumor that Marvel and Star Wars characters may be featured in the game.

This rumor about the Marvel and Star Wars crossover remains raw at this moment. Tetsuya Nomura, the game's director, stated that while they consider an expansion, incorporating this may be difficult due to the limitations of Disney.

In the meantime, IGN reported that Disney and Square Enix were making plans for a TV adaptation for Kingdom Hearts, but it did not prosper. The animated adaptation was produced after the initial success of Kingdom Hearts, which was released in 2002 on PlayStation 2. Disney's Seth Kearsley, the storyboard artist for the TV animation division, was asked to direct and write the first episode of a possible series.

But in spite of the good reception by the audience, Square Enix and Disney agreed to not push through with the project due to a wide difference in the interpretation of the game's original story.

Kingdom Hearts III remains at the stage of development and will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. While there is no announcement for the official release date, it is presumed to be released in 2017.
