'Rainbow Six Siege' News and Updates: Game Runs at 1080p on PlayStation 4, 900p on Xbox One During Live Beta

Game developer and publisher Ubisoft has recently confirmed that in open beta for the the first person shooter game "Rainbow Six Siege" will have an IP that features 1080p graphics quality for PlayStation 4, 900p for Xbox One, and 720p to 1080p for PC platforms. This announcement about the graphics quality of "Rainbow Six Siege" was initially spottedn the FAQ section of the game's support page.

The post reads: "During the Open Beta, the game is running in 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One. On PC, the resolution will vary between 720p and 1080p depending on your configuration." That having said, fans of the next-gen consoles are expecting to receive a consistent 1080p and 900p resolution with no effect on the frame rate as the game runs. On the other hand, the graphics of the "Rainbow Six Siege" running on PC platforms will entirely depend on the user's gaming equipment and if it bears the recommended specs requirements, according to Ecumenical News.

Furthermore, Ubisoft has also mentioned that the game's existing graphics has  yet to be finalized and the developer is currently doing several enhancements to the IP prior to its initial release scheduled next month. "We're still looking to push the hardware as much as possible in order to deliver a quality experience for players and will be able to share more about the final resolution once we're closer to release date," explained Ubisoft. The live "Rainbow Six Siege" open beta is now available. Ubisoft has officially began the beta test on Wednesday, Nov. 25 and will continue until Nov. 29. The open beta gives opportunity to the fans to test the three available maps, along with other game modes such as Secure Area, the players vs AI game, Bomb,  Disarm Bomb and other highly anticipated game features.

The "Rainbow Six Siege" is set to roll out in the market on Dec. 1st.
