"Sense8" fans were able to breathe a sigh of relief after Netflix announced the show's renewal for Season 2 during the sensates' birthday on Aug. 8. While the online streaming giant has yet to announce further details about the upcoming season, series creator Michael J. Straczynski revealed several exciting plans for season 2 and the show's future.

"Sense8" Season 2 has officially been confirmed after what seems to be a agonizingly long wait for most fans of the Netflix sci-fi drama. While Michael J. Straczynski and Lana and Andy Wachowski have yet to get back on set and start filming scenes for Season 2, the show's co-creator and executive producer previously revealed to Collider that a five-year arc is already underway.
Straczynski revealed that he and the Wachowskis "already have the second season worked out in great detail." Straczynski furthermore added that there are already "rough notes for the next three years" should the show be renewed for more seasons after season 2.
While Straczynski did not exactly delve deep into what he and the Wachowskis have already worked out for "Sense8" Season 2, a report from News Everyday listed several possible plotlines when the show returns for more episodes. The outlet noted that many fans are wondering about romance blooming for several characters, including the possibility that Kala will marry Rajan.
As seen on the final episodes of the show, Kala saw Wolfgang on a killing spree after receiving an advice from the latter that she would be better off with Rajan. Will Kala choose to stay with Wolfgang? Or will she take his advice and marry Rajan?
The outlet also considered the possibility that the cluster will become stronger than they were in Season 1, as they begin to discover more about their abilities and as other clusters will be introduced in "Sense8" Season 2.
