"Outlander" Season 2 may still be a long way ahead, as the cast and crew of the Starz time traveler series are still filming scenes for the sophomore season. While the "Droughtlander" is definitely real for most fans, many started wondering when will the show cast two of their fan favorite characters from Diana Gabaldon's second book, "Dragonfly in Amber" - Brianna Roger and Roger Wakefield. Who will play these roles?

Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe will be back as Jamie Fraser and Claire Randall, respectively, when "Outlander" returns for Season 2. While the release date of the Starz time traveler series has not yet been revealed, several cast members have already been announced prior to and during the 2015 Comic-Con.
While Heughan, Balfe and the rest of the cast have already started filming months ago, several fans are still left wondering about the actor and actress who will be portraying the roles of Brianna and Roger. Fashion & Style reported that these characters have not yet been cast, but it is possible that these fan favorite characters will be introduced during the later episodes of the show.
The outlet also noted that co-executive producer Matthew B. Roberts previously revealed that the cast is already done filming five episodes of the upcoming season. While fans are still going through a state of "Droughtlander," several photos on the set of the series ultimately revealed the return of Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies) despite seemingly being killed off by a cattle stampede from Season 1.
Meanwhile, Sam Heughan may be a busy lad, but he was recently spotted taking a SPIN class at the Caledonian University in Glasgow, Daily Record reported.
The 35-year-old Scottish actor sported a low-key profile while taking the class, for which one of the women from his class said: "He was just like everyone else and I doubt many people knew who he was." The insider shared that the only reason she identified Heughan was because she's a fan of the show.
