"Outlander" is still a long way to go before Season 2 returns on TV, as the Starz time traveler series has yet to announce a premiere date for its sophomore season. Warning: Spoilers ahead! Read on if you want to learn more about the details of this story.

"Outlander" Season 2 will see the return of Sam Heughan as Jamie Fraser and Caitriona Balfe as Claire Randall, as the Starz time traveler series covers Diana Gabaldon's second book, "Dragonfly in Amber." While several hints and spoilers have been revealed, several fans are still wondering as to when the series will return on TV.

In a previous report from Realty Today, "Outlander" Season 2 will possibly premiere on March 19, 2016 should the network air "Black Sails" on Jan. 9. While all this remains nothing but speculations, Caitriona Balfe recently revealed some juicy details about what fans can expect from Claire and Jamie in the upcoming season.

Speaking with Access Hollywood, the 35-year-old actress admitted that she felt glad and thankful for the fans and viewers' response to the first season of the series. Despite having quite a lot of intimate scenes in the show, be it with Tobias Menzies' Frank or Heughan's Jamie, Balfe defended the deed and said that "it was not instantaneous sex."

"They could just get over their nervousness and get through the night. I am really glad that people responded well to it," Balfe said.

Balfe added that "Outlander" Season 2 will also show what will happen next to Jamie and Claire following the events from Wentworth Prison with Black Jack Randall. Heughan recounted that Jamie will be having a hard time getting past his experience in prison. Claire, on the other hand, will have to support Jamie and at the same time, deal with her pregnancy.
