Basketball Star and Lakers players Anthony Davis have recently sold his Westlake Village Mansion. It includes a dedicated indoor basketball court. Aside from that, the said mansion has other features and amenities that would definitely entice any buyer if it was still for sale. But what kind of mansion did the famous Lakers basketball star had? And how much did the property sold in the celebrity real estate market?

Westlake Village Mansion of Lakers Star Anthony Davis Sold It For $6.6 Million

According to PriceyPads.com, the said celebrity real estate property has sold for a whopping $6.6 million dollars. That kind of price is quite expensive, but there is a good reason for that hefty price tag. Listed below are some of the well-known features and amenities of the said village mansion:

  • Square foot area: 15,815 square foot total area
  • Acre size: 2.33 acres
  • Completed in: 1996
  • Bedrooms: 5
  • Bathrooms: 6.5 (6 bathrooms, 1 half-bathroom)

The said village mansion was purchased by Davis way back in 2018 for $7.5 million dollars. He tried selling it in April 2020, for around $8 million dollars, but that didn't go well. Originally built and completed in 1996, the property was expanded and modernized during its lifetime. As for the known features and amenities of this property to the public, listed below are the following:

  1. Two-story entry with a curving staircase.
  2. A study room that is fully paneled with wood.
  3. A kitchen with double island units.
  4. A fully decked-out home theater with state-of-the-art systems.
  5. A dedicated guest house.
  6. A fully dedicated and fully equipped indoor basketball court.
  7. A unique and one-of-a-kind pool that costs around $1 million dollars.
  8. Numerous numbers of both patios and decks.
  9. A huge garage that can hold up to five cars.
  10. A sunken trampoline.
  11. Full security systems within the property, consisting of both indoor & outdoor security cameras.
  12. A low maintenance manicured turf.
  13. It has its own solar power system that is extensive and powerful enough to supply electricity to the whole property.

It has been noted that Davis sold the said property when his five-year $190 million dollar contract with the Los Angeles Lakers have recently ended in December 2020. The celebrity real estate home is notable for it being near the North Ranch Country Club Estates, a well-known Golf & Country Club for the rich and famous people in the country.

The Los Angeles Lakers Center Said That He Sold the Property for a Loss

Although the celebrity real estate property was successfully sold by the basketball star, he has stated that he has sold the said property for a loss. The original selling price of the said property was the amount the star was hoping to sell it for, but tried to sell it at a much higher price, but failed miserably.

According to the Baltimore Sun, the Lakers center has told his thoughts about the said sale. It has been noted that he got the property while he was still active with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2018, for the amount of $7,479,000 million dollars. His unsuccessful attempt in selling it immediately in the spring of 2020 must-have added to the bad taste the star had after selling it for a loss.
