Recently, rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs has been reported to help families with their rent in Miami. The help was provided via a grant from a local organization. The rapper's aim is to help several families, totaling around 175, to pay their rent during the current global pandemic.

According to Independent, the said rapper is working with a local organization in Miami that will grant several families in the area some help in regards to their rent. It has been known that Combs grew up in Miami as well, therefore it isn't surprising to hear this kind of news from him.
The grant was announced on December 29 by Combs, during an event held by the House of Wings in the neighborhood of Overton. Also during the event, the rapper has handed out $50 bills, gift cards, and hygiene kits to the attendees present at the event. For the said grant, Combs has partnered with Teens Exercising Extraordinary Success for the said grant.
It is noted that Combs has a long history with philanthropy. That history resulted in the creation of Diddy's House Social Programmes, which is an organization geared towards helping the youth in the inner city. And during the Hurricane Katrina catastrophe in 2005, Combs had also provided $1 million as a donation for helping the victims of the said hurricane. He also donated some clothing from his own clothing line, the Sean John fashion line.
Aside from those generous charitable donations, he has also provided books and computers to various schools located in New York. While in 2016, he donated $1 million again to Howard University to establish the Sean Combs Scholarship Fund. The said fund is created to help students that are struggling or are unable to pay their tuition fees and other related expenses.
The Rapper and Philanthropist Is a Known Individual For Helping People In Need
Combs is known for being a nice guy that helps whenever he can, when possible. According to People, the previously mentioned TEES is one of Combs' organizations that has a charitable purpose. The main purpose of the said organization is to make teens in their surrounding area to have a more productive lifestyle by providing them assistance.
They are hoping that thanks to the assistance of the organization, the teens will become self-sufficient shareholders in the country's economy in the near future. By being so can help them secure their futures, along with their future family, and will help them to prevent themselves from being dragged under by peer pressure.
Additionally, his established organizations and their benefactors are known to collaborate with several people and groups. One such person they are collaborating with is Miami Dade County Commissioner Keon Hardemonwith. Another known person involved with Combs' organizations is Michael Gardner, and one such group collaborating with him is Headliner Market Group. Aside from those mentioned, there are more who are in collaboration or are planning to collaborate with Combs and his organizations in the near future.
